Dryer shuts off after 5 minutes of operation. Power switch says clean lint filter. Done that. Cleaned fryer vent, hose, and vent tube leading outside the house. No improvement. What do i need to do now?

Hello John, thank you for your question. It sounds like there is a thermostat, or thermistor issue. I would first check the The inlet and outlet control thermistor with a multimeter. These two thermistor should show continuity. When using a multimeter, you should see a reading of 9 to 10 k ohms at room temperature and it should not have a closed or open circuit. If it does, it is not working correctly and it will need to be replaced. I hope this helps!

Hi Mark,
Thank you for your question. I would suggest taking a look at your thermostats and your thermal fuses. You can test those parts with a multi meter. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

Just like Mark stated I have no power at all nothing happens when button pushed or anything I located Thermistor (how I ended up here) but you referenced the fuse? Where is this on the machine I have looked and looked and cannot find anything out online about it.

Hello Sixto, thank you for asking. According to our research, sometimes the thermal fuse is also labeled as a thermistor, part number PS2354018. It is located between the blower and the blower housing. If you need help placing an order for it, please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!

Hi Roxanne, thank you for your query. To fix the issue, you may need to check the inlet control thermostat, part number PS1766014, and thermal fuse, part number PS10065161. Glad to be of assistance!
Our timer heat cycle cycles between drying on hot and on low/extra low ( whatever temperature I have picked). I know there are numerous thermistors/thermometers. What part/s should we replace? Thanks
For model number GE GTMP520ED4WW
Hi Carey, thank you for reaching out. Based on our understanding of the issue, we would suggest you replace the temperature sensor, part number PS304103, to fix this issue. We hope this solves your problem!
