FREEZER BOTTOM IS FORMING ICE EVERY COUPLE WEEKS AND CAUSING REFRIG TO FREEZE ALSO
For model number GZ25FSRXYY2
Hello Dale, thank you for contacting us. Please make sure that the temperature settings are according to the manufacturer's recommendations. The factory recommended set points are 38°F (3°C) for the refrigerator and 0°F (-18°C) for the freezer. Now inspect the door gasket, part number PS11757265, and ensure that it is not damaged. When warm air leaks into the freezer compartment, its dehumidification and condensation may lead to the formation of ice on the bottom of the freezer. Also, make sure that the defrost drain is not clogged and that the water from defrost is draining. Please reach out to customer service if you need help placing an order. Glad to be of help!
