Does this part act like a latch? Is it attached to the door with 2 screws?D

Hello Kristen, thank you for your question. The part you need is actually part number 134937300. This is the part held onto the door with 2 screws. It has a post on it and goes into the door lock to latch the door, hold it closed and activate the door switch so the unit can run. Good luck with your repair!
