Can i buy just the foam insert - i.E., the lining inside the plastic casing, without having to buy the entire evaporator cover assembly? (this is the foam insert that physically holds the evaporator fan)? Thanks
For model number CSCP5UGXCFSS
Hello and thank you for writing.
Regretfully no. This part is only being sold as part of the assembly. We hope this helps. Please contact us anytime if you require further assistance.

Having problem with icing at and behind the cover and refrigerator side on top two shelves are warmer due to poor air circulation. I noticed that this evaporator cover assembly has a fan, but what else does it have on it. Is there a thermistor and what else. Should this replacement solve my problem. And how difficult is it to replace myself. Thanks much.
