Delivery was two day, part was exact match.
TJ in parts, is awesome. Quick with item info, double checks part number, description with you, and the prices equal, any reputable parts distributer. Beware of just part sellers, cheap prices, and come broken or not what you've ordered. Good luck with that phone number, you won't find one. So my advice, is talk to TJ or any of the qualified people there.

Small radiant wasn't working but large was.
Ordered the dual replacement. I am 76 so I had someone else do it. It took him about 15 minutes. Just pulled the oven forward about 8" so he could lift the top up. 2 Screws to release the top. Then just removed the part and plugged in the replacement. Rescrewed the top screws and pushed the oven back.

9" Radiant Element did not heat up.
I started by Unscrewing the range top. 2 small screws. I took off the old piece by unclipping the piece . Then I color coded each wire so that I would know exactly where I would place the wires for the new part. 30 min maximum time spent changing the part. Please don't forget to unplug the range before you start.

1. Right front burner stopped working, inner and outter
2. "hot surface" light stays on.Not sure if switch of burner, when switch is ohm'd out it seems ok, when element is ohm'd out it seems ok. is there any other device that can cause this .
the switch is either on "closed circuit" or off "open circuit" how does the switch control the heating range of the element. parts are easy enough to change just dont want to start throwning parts at it. thanks
For model number ps905dp2bb
Hello Thomas, thank you for your question. Usually if the element is not working at all, inner or outer ring, the issue is the element itself. The switch regulates the temp, so if the switch is the issue usually the element turns on, but can't be regulated. Also, when the hot surface light remains on, this is a good indicator that the element is bad. I would recommend replacing the element itself. I hope this helps!

The large part of the burner works but not the inner (small) burner
For model number jb700dn2ww
Hello Catherine, thank you for your question. The element itself probably has to be replaced. However, the issue could be the switch that controls that burner as well. We would recommend resting the switch first to be sure that isn't the issue. Here is a link that will show you how to test that switch.

The dual burner works only on the outer ring. I am not sure how to access the switch to test it as the videos I find all show this for switches mounted on a panel at the rear and this model has the switches on the front above the oven door. The next question is how to access the burner on this model.
For model number JSP46SP2SS
Hi Grady,
Thank you for your question. Before beginning, make sure the circuit breaker is off. You will need to remove the cooktop from the counter. To do this you will need to go underneath and see what kind of brackets are holding it in place. The brackets will vary depending on the make and model and type of countertop is it laying on. These brackets will need to be removed. Here is some information that a customer has left as to how they removed/installed the switch that may be helpful to you as well, "Turned off power to counter top range and pulled-up from counter. Set range on counter and removed 16 screws from around the housing allowing me to pull-up and remove range top. Used socket to remove 4 screws holding control switch bracket in place and 2 screws holding bad switch in place. Disconnect wires from bad switch and reconnected to new switch. Placed and screwed switch bracket back in place. Before placing range top back I turned power back on to to test burner operation. Burner and switch operated correctly and I completed screwing range top back in place, setting back down into counter top. Done" Also, here is a link to a video that may help. It is not the same appliance but same basic steps for the switch. Hope this helps! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7hoJqv_pQvg. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Is the above part number the correct GE profile 30" downdraft electric cook top part number?
For model number JP989T05WW
Hello Paul, thank you for your question. I believe the model number is JP989T D 5WW. We were unable to find the model number you have provided. For the JP989T D 5WW model the front right element is PartSelect Number PS1154945 and the front left element and bridge (element that bridges the front left and back left burners is PartSelect Number PS955015. I hope this helps.
My range surface element (left front one, 9 inch i think, second largest one) doesn't heat up and when i looked inside the switch was burnt. I replaced the infinite switch but it still doesn't heat up and i am suspecting that it has a coil (radiant element) issue. Exact problem is that the element doesn't heat up and also the heat indicator (whether the element is hot or not it shows) always says that the broken element is hot even when it is not on. Would this part help fixing it?
For model number JCS630SF1SS
Hello Hyunjun, thank you for writing. Yes, this is the replacement for your model and may fix the problem. The correct Infinite Switch for it is part PS1481076. We hope this helps.

I was cooking the other night and all of a sudden the burner quit working. When i turn the knob to turn the burner on the stove indicates burner on hot cooktop but the burner doesnt come on. What is the issue?
For model number JB645CP1BB
Hello Emily, thank you for inquiring. You will want to replace either this 9" Dual Radiant Element part number PS2321567 for your model if it is the burner not working correctly, or the 9" Surface Burner Switch part number PS1765835. I hope this helps and good luck with your repair!

Front left Dual Burner, does not heat. Hot surface indicator remain on. Elements in the housing measure 34 & 40 ohms. The control switch passes power to the element side mounted thermostat. The thermostat does not pass voltage to the elements, as the other burners in comparison. - So I assume an element/thermostat set is in order, to repair?
For model number GE JB850ST1SS
Hi Steve, thank you for your question. Yes the part number you have provided is the correct part to fix your issue. We hope this helps.
