WHEN I START OVEN PREHEAT STAYS ON.I DO NOT KNOW IF TEMPERATURE IS WHAT I NEED. IT STAYS ON PREHEAT.THANK YOU.
For model number JGB660SEJ2SS
Hello Catherine, thank you for your inquiry. It is possible that the oven temperature sensor, part number PS2374070, is malfunctioning. This sensor monitors the temperature inside the oven and tells the control panel when to turn off the preheat setting. If the sensor is impaired, it may not tell when the oven has reached the correct temperature accurately. As a result, the preheat setting will stay on indefinitely. We hope this is helpful!
