Door water and ice dispenser not working.
Replaced door circuit board. Vert simple to do. Problem was not solved! Replaced the main board with advice of ge tech. problem not solved. Currently waiting for the Tech to reappear. Not a happy person

Door water and ice dispenser not working
It was very simple. Removed 4 screws on top of door where panel is located. Unplug 3 three connectors and removed board. reinstalled new one in reverse mode. On the down side this did not solve the problem. I am still working on it.

The Alarm keeps going off on my fridge. does not dispense water or ice. it is making ice, though. When I open/close the door the alarm stops and sometimes the ice and water dispense. is this the Main Control Board or the Door Control Board that needs to be replaced??

Hello Don, thank you for contacting us. The most probable cause of the issue is a faulty door board, part number PS16542831. The Door Control Board sends power to the water valves inside the door, the auger motor, and several of the dispenser components. The ICE TOP ON/OFF keeps toggling on and off.
Would this have anything to do with this board?

Hello Dan, Thank you for your inquiry. Researching your model, it could be an issue with the ice maker or with this board. First check the ice maker for any clogs or debris that could be causing it to shut off or it could be not making ice. We have included a link to our video on how to test the ice maker to make sure it is working properly. Also check to make sure that it is filling. If the ice maker tests ok and it is filling with water, then we recommend checking the board. Good luck with your repair.
My unit is running too cold. I have the control panel set at 6, it reads the actual temp as -4, but it is actually -7. Would this be a control panel issue?

Hello Warren, thank you for contacting us. According to our research, the issue is probably because of a faulty temperature sensor, part number PS304103. It senses the temperature inside the refrigerator and sends information to the electronic control. If this does not help, the issue is probably related to a faulty control board, part number PS16619572. Good luck with your repair!

Hi Alfonso, thank you for reaching out. First, we recommend resetting the control panel by turning off the power to the refrigerator briefly. Unplug the refrigerator or turn it off at the circuit breaker for 30 seconds to reset the control. If it does not fix the issue, then you may need to check the dispenser control board, part number PS16217339. If the issue still exists then you may need to check the following parts: the door control board, part number PS16542831, and the main control board, part number PS16619572. We hope this sorts out your problem!
The auto fill is malfunctioning. It turns on by itself after using the regular water dispenser. Also, it no longer beeps when you change from water to ice and the door alarm is no longer working. I switched out the Display Board but it is still not working.
