Hi I'm trying to fix my dishwasher which is giving off code F6E1. It shouldn't be the water inlet valve cause I already changed that part out. And I don't think it's the float switch either cause I used a multimeter to see if it's operating when the switch is actuated. So I'm beginning to think it might be the control panel. The plastic strip that goes over the buttons is bubbled up but the buttons seem to be working properly. Can you please tell me how I might be able to tell whether the control panel is the problem and does every thing come with the control panel? Meaning does include both the panel that the operator uses when setting the wash cycles and the button mechanism that is attached underneath? Thank you
For model number WDTA50SAKZ0
Hello Vincent, Thank you for the question. If the valve and float are checked and good, this could be a break in the wire harness to the valve preventing power from getting tot he valve. We suggest checking there before replacing the Board. There is no way to test the board unfortunately but at times it may have physical damage, but not always. Normally a burn mark around a relay. The Board (Panel UI) is just the control Board. The Buttons are sold separate as part of the Console. If you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!
Hi Margaret,
Thank you for your question. We have included a link to one of our YouTube videos that you may reference on how to install the electronic control board. The dishwasher in the video may appear different from yours, but it will give you a general idea on how to install the part. If you have any questions, please let us know. We are open 7 days a week. We look forward to hearing from you!
