Hi Thomas, thank you for reaching out. According to our research, the thermistor is located on the back under the lower access panel. You will need to remove the back panel by removing the screws from it. The thermistor will be attached below, you can detach it and replace it. We hope this helps!

The dryer won’t start and the light for “check lint screen “ come on. After few tries, it starts again. And the cycle repeats itself, starting and not starting.

Hi Joe, thank you for writing in. Our research shows that if the dryer is not starting or starting intermittently there is an issue with the door not closing properly. This would also cause the lint trap indicator to turn on. Make sure there is no dirt or clothing from preventing the door to close properly. If here is nothing in the way then you will have to replace the door switch. Part number PS12745626 is the part you need. We hope this helps.
this dryer is showing a f1 and f3 code and will not finish a cycle.
For model number WGD5620HW0
Hello Nicholas, thank you for reaching out. Based on our research, both of the error codes you mentioned indicate an issue with the control board. We would recommend checking the control panel assembly, part number PS12728559, to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!
