Same with me beeping and 888 code. So do I need just a fuse or the whole new board?
For model number GPT145SSLOSS
Hello Eric, thank you for reaching out. The 888 code on your dishwasher is not an error code. Instead, it is a side effect of a blown control board fuse. We recommend you replace the control board fuse, part number PS12743197. We hope this helps, good luck with the repair!
I have a replacement for part wd21x24676, control board. I cannot find any instructions on how to access and remove the old one to install this new one. Is there any instructions I can see or buy that you have access to? Thanks
For model number GPT225sgl0ww
Hello Scott, thank you for your inquiry. In order to remove and replace the control board, follow the following steps: Disconnect the supply from the main board and take the door off. Disconnect the wiring harness for the control board. To access panel, use a nut driver to take out the screws. Once you have the screws out, you can pull the panel off and set it aside. Now that you have the access panel out of the way, you can see the wiring harness for the control board. It is right in the center of the dishwasher, just got a little locking clip on it. Press and release it and install the new one. Follow the same process backwards to reassemble the dishwasher. We hope this information helps!

My portable dishwasher will not drain every time. I can do one or two loads just fine then the next load it will go through the whole cycle then throw the code 888 and not drain. Leaving the whole pan full of water.

Hi Shelly, thank you for the question. According to our research, the 888 error code indicates that the PC board is shorted and the display driver that shows what is supposed to be a display is not working. We would suggest replacing the main control board, part number PS12582725. It manages the functions of the dishwasher, such as washing, draining and drying. We hope this solves your problem!
