Hello Joe, Thank you for your inquiry. It is possible it is hitting against something, so we would recommend checking the fan for any obstructions around it. The fan in the freezer section is actually the evaporator fan, and the blade is part# PS12730613. If it is the fan at the back of the refrigerator near the compressor, that would be the condenser fan. We hope this helps and if you need help placing an order for a part, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!
My fridge is making loud noises (like a knocking, humming) when cooling off I believe . If the fridge is closed for awhile during the day it is fine but if you open it too long to where the alarm goes off and at night the fridge is very noisy. Would this be a compressor or fan issue ?

Hello Emily, thank you for getting in touch. According to our research, the condenser motor with the compressor may be slightly off balance or faulty, which is causing the fan to knock against the unit. We would recommend you check the condenser motor, part number PS1483567, to fix this issue. Glad to be of assistance!
My refrigerator top is not cooling.what part could be faulty?

Hello Freda, thank you for reaching out. Based on our understanding of the issue, we would suggest checking the damper control, part number PS12172988, to solve the problem. It channels and controls the cold airflow from the freezer compartment into the refrigerator compartment. We hope this helps.
