When selected to hot water, only cold water comes out. When selected to cold, cold water comes out into washer machine
For model number GUD24ESSM1WW
Hello Larry, Thank you for the question. if the Hot Water Tap is open and has a good water pressure, this could be an indication of the Water Valve or the Temperature Switch. We suggest testing the Valve. Set your multitester to the ohms resistance scale X 1. Place each of the meter's probes to one terminal. Because the reading can vary from brand to brand and from model to model, there is no one reading you should receive. However, if your test produces a reading of infinity, then the solenoid is bad and the water valve should be replaced. If the Valve is good, we suggest replacing the Switch. We hope this is helpful!
Unit is intermittently not running or running and not filling with water. Any ideas of the cause? Thank you.
For model number GUD27ESSJOWW
Hello Aaron, thank you for getting in touch. According to our research, we would recommend checking the water inlet valve for continuity. If this is not the issue, we would recommend replacing the control board with a tub shield motor, part number PS11767531. It turns the gear case shaft during the agitation cycle and rotates the spin basket during the spin cycle. The washer electronic control board manages washer operation such as filling, agitation and spinning. We hope this information helps!
Is there a re-build kit for the WH13X27314 water valve? Perhaps the solenoid and the diaphragm?
For model number GUD27GSPMDG
Hello Frank, thank you for your question. No, there was no rebuild kit manufactured. The part you are asking about is the Duel Coil Solenoid Water Valve PS12343369. We are pleased to have been able to help.
