Our lower Spray Arm is wobbly and loose. Is this normal? How does it effect performance? The gasket in the underside appears deteriorated - can I replace just the gasket or does the entire spray arm need replaced?
For model number KDFE104DSS4
Hi Gerry, thank you for the question. Based on the description you have provided, it seems that the spray arm bearing ring may have come loose or worn out and prevents a proper spray pattern. Your dishwasher will not clean properly due to this issue. The ring does not come separately, and it comes within the lower wash arm assembly, part number PS12070902. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope that helps!

HI. Are the plastic pieces that lock and secure the lower spray arm available? Or do I have to buy the whole arm. If so, does the arm come with the plastic lock and secure pieces? I only really need those.
For model number Kdte234gps
Hello Eric, Thank you for your inquiry. The arm would come with the plastic twist part that locks it into the diverter cover, it is not available separately. We hope this helps.

should the sprayer arm be rotating when the washer is working, mine is stationary if I open the door quick and look at it. It rotates freely by hand, I cleaned all the water holes in the sprayer. Am I looking in the wrong place. sometimes the dishes don't get cleaned . Rocco

Hello Rocco, thank you for contacting us. The spray arm is supposed to be rotating while spraying the water. Sometimes due to debris build-up, the arm will not rotate. We would recommend cleaning the joints of the arm. The water pressure is the force responsible for rotating the spray arms. Please inspect the motor pump, part number PS11773089, and ensure that it is providing water with enough pressure. If not, replacing the motor can solve the problem. If this does not help, the spray arm, part number PS12070902, is faulty. Customer service is always available to help you place an order if you are having trouble doing so. Good luck with your repair.
Hi Shaun, thank you for your question! According to our research, the spray arm does not have an o-ring to seal it, it is locked directly into the diverter, so to replace it, you just want to line it up at the base when it is set into place and turn it clockwise to lock it once. We hope this information helps!

Is there a different design lower spray arm that can replace the KDTM404ESS3 part #W10860176 lower spray arm?
For model number KDTM404ESS3 lower spray arm
Hello Ed, thank you for the great question. We have found that the lower spray arm, part number PS11731499, is the only low spray arm, compatible with your model. There is no other design that is compatible. We hope this information helps!
The lower spray arm on my 2018 Kitchenaid has come off. What must be done to reattach it? No broken parts, I just cannot get it to latch back on.KDP
For model number KPDE234GPS
Hi Marsha, thank you for reaching out. First, shut off the power supply to the appliance. Remove the rack to do the job easily. Grab the spray arm, position it in the center of the spray arm area, and rotate it in a clockwise direction to fully fix it. We hope this information is useful!
