My washer is sling water from underneath, is there a seal for the agitator? The hoses are not where the water is coming from.
For model number MVWB765FW1
Hello Brian, thank you for your inquiry. Based on the description that you have provided, we would recommend checking the washer, part number PS11770333, to fix the issue. We hope this helps.

My washer got wet underneath a little. My wife tried to start it and smelled rubber burning now it will not start. All the lights come on, but do start. What shall I do to fix it?
For model number WTW8500DC5
Hi Quinton,
Thank you for your question. If the washer is not starting, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the lid lock assembly, the electronic control board and the stator. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Hi, I am replacing the gear case on my whirlpool wtw8040dw4. I did not see this washer per se when I disassembled the tub and gear case. When I flip the drum over I see a rubber gasket and metal washer in the bottom side of the drum. Is this part #PS11770333? If not where is this washer supposed to be. Thank you in advance!
For model number WTW8040DW4
Hello Torin, thank you for your question. The rubber washer you have indicated does show it to slip over the shaft on the gearcase. The parts you are asking for may be in this Slider Kit number PS10060062. We have photos on the site for you to view and compare. Good luck with this repair.
My washer is leaking from directly under the drum. It spins and agitates fine.
Would this rubber seal fix the problem?
For model number WTW7300DWO
Hello Brad, thank you for the query. According to our research, the washer you have mentioned is for the gear case. We would recommend checking that the hose clamp is connected to the hose properly. If the issue still occurs, we would recommend checking the hose, part number PS11703462, to resolve the issue. We hope this solves your problem!
I took my gearbox off, but I don't see this washer there. Is this optional? Was it forgot to be put on in a prior repair?
For model number WTW8500DC2
Hi Mark, thank you for reaching out. This washer is not optional. You will need to install it before putting the gearbox back. We hope this information is useful!
