painless
The part arrived quickly. By using the expanded parts picture the installation was painless. I honestly spent more time cleaning the gasket area than installing.

How do i install the sump pump gasket on this dishwasher? It it number 506 in the diagram. Water was spraying out everywhere on the bottom of my dishwasher so i bought this gasket from y'all because i believe it is the problem. Just wanted to know if you can give me any lead way into installing the gasket on my dishwasher? Thank you.
For model number GDF520PSJ2SS
Hi Justin,
1. Take out screws holding dishwasher to counter top.
2. Pull out lower dishrack and spray arm. Remove the filter basket by turning counter clockwise.
3. Remove fine filter. Take out the two screws to the sump housing. Remove both sump supports.
4. Remove outerdoor and the kick panel and then inner access panel, removing the plastic cover from inner access panel as well as the insulation.
5. Using wrench remove water line. Use nut driver remove drain hose from air gap, there may be water in the hose.
6. Remove the side panels and then the parts which hold the base to the cabinet. Tilt the dishwasher on its back.
7. Remove the pressure chamber to sump hose on the retainer. Pull out of the sump.
8. Remove any screws holding the base to the cabinet and remove the base.
9. Hold sump assembly, so it will not fall down. Remove old sump gasket. Clean opening of sump.
10. Put soap on gasket and install. Reverse procedure in order to reconstruct the dishwasher.
