Hi Frank, Thank you for your question. If the dishwasher is not heating, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which ones are causing the issue. You will need to check the heating element, the thermsostat, the rinse aid dispenser, the electronic control boards. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

My GE dishwasher isn't heating up at all. I've tested the heating element and there's continuity. I know the next step is to test the thermostat, but I don't see one on this model. Is the turbidity sensor similar to a thermostat? Could this be my problem? Thanks for any help.
For model number GDF520PSF2SS

Hello Jason, Thank you for the question. The Thermostat on this model is located under the appliance and is part of the Wire Harness. We hope this helps!

GE dishwasher will not begin cycle, start button is pressed and then blinks and beeps after a few seconds. Any ideas on what to start checking?
For model number GDF620HMJ2ES

Hello Greg, thank you for your question. We would recommend testing the door latch Door Latch Part Number: WD21X10490 and the water valve first, which is Part Number WD15X24213. If the door doesn't latch the unit will not start, and if the water valve doesn't open to allow water in it will not start a cycle. I hope this helps.

GE Dishwasher. It's not washing dishes at all and even detergent is not used. I started maintenance mode and I could see drain working fine, water inlet is getting water in too (though slowly, may be that's how it works) but the spray washer arms are not working and no water is coming from spray washer arms. Do you think problem is with circulation pump? I filled dishwasher with water from tap and tried to run the dishwasher, still dishes were not washed, looks like spray arms are not getting water. Please help, what could I check next?
For model number GDT580SSF6SS

Hello Nitin, Thank you for the question. This is normally an indication the Circulation Pump is not working to circulate the water to the spray arms. We would suggest replacing the Dishwasher Circulation Pump Assembly. If you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!

Three year old "adora" dishwasher - no longer washing. This feels like some sort of controls problem (control board?):The display no longer "times out." it stays on all the time.when you close the door, the dishwasher starts humming (no water) even when it's not set to turn on.start it and wait - the minutes timer on the control panel actually counts up. again, no water. we tried to run a cycle and it melted a plastic cup (so the heat's obviously working)controls and lights all seem to work.this started about a week and a half ago -- got a couple good runs out of it since, now it's back at it. I've replaced the float switch / thermometer.any ideas? should i get a repair person? a cleric maybe?

My dishwasher was not draining. I vacuumed it out and changed the drain pump. Now it still will not drain all the water. Disassembled the all filters all the way to the sump manifold. I have not replaced it. Cleaned it as best as I could. Reassembled it and it still will not drain. Even cleaned out drain hose. Help me please!

Newer dishwasher will not drain! All clear for draining, no blocks. Replaced drain pump and flood sensor. Ran without plugged in turbidity sensor and more water was left. I am replacing that next. Anything else? Everything else runs and heats fine, cleans dishes. Just quite a bit of merky water left after cycles. Sick of vacuuming out. Thanks for any help!
For model number GE GDT580SMF2ES

Hello Ryan and thank you for writing. Check for a valve bracket on some models. If you have a valve bracket, your dishwasher has a drain valve. To test the valve, push on the valve bracket to make sure it moves freely. Also, check if your dishwasher is balanced correctly as this can cause an issue. We hope this helps. Please contact us anytime if you require further assistance.

I have replaced the inlet valve on my GE dishwasher and yet it will not fill with water is there another sensor that could be affecting this
For model number Gdf520pgj0ww

Hi Jeff, Thank you for the question. I suggest replacing the Flood Switch. This is a flood switch assembly for your washer. The flood switch controls the hot and cold water filling your washer tub to ensure the proper amount of water. Hope this helps! ,
