Great repair
I had a leak under the pump. Couldn’t tell exactly where it was coming from. Replace the complete assemble and that solved the problem. It was a perfect fit!

Good part at a good price
Had an issue where the dishwasher would fill but not wash. The rubber gasket sealing the new part to the bottom of the dishwasher was a bit tight. Definitely not a one-person job to install, since positive pressure is needed to seat the new seal. Otherwise, the new motor works like a champ. Dishwasher runs like new.

Washer pump wasn't working
I found a video on youtube that was very detailed explaining how to change out the same unit I purchased (Pump and Motor Assembly Model # KDFE104DBL0). If you have basic mechanical skills and the proper tools this video will make installation much easier. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Johlq5qbmEI

Dishwasher will fill but will not wash
For model number KDTE104EWH1
Hi Robert,
Thank you for your question. There are a few parts that you may want to check to see if they are clean and working correctly. First you should check your filter and see if it is clean and not clogged up. The same with your spray arms. Take a look at the holes and make sure they are not clogged up. Then you should check your water inlet valve and see if that part is working correctly. You may also want to take a look at your turbidity sensor, and your motor pump as well. For the electrical parts you should be able to test them with a multi meter to see if they are working or not. Good luck with your repair.

Once again or dishwasher KitchenAid is not working. 7th time but now not covered any longer by best buy. The water runs in and then it gets steamy and then nothing. Would these be the pump? Which was replaced like most everything in the american made dish washer.
For model number KDTE104ESS1
Hello Ann and thanks for writing.
First thing is to make sure there is not a problem with your door latch, if that is ok it most likely would have to be the pump and motor. We hope this helps. Please contact us anytime.

Is this an official kitchen aid part or after market compatible?
For model number wpw10605057
Hello Carla, thank you for your question. This is a genuine OEM Whirlpool part used on KitchenAid models. If you can provide the model number for the appliance you want to use it on, we can see if it is compatible or which one is. We look forward to hearing back from you.

How hard is it to replace the pump and motor assembly (ps11756692) on this dishwasher?
For model number KDFE104DSS4 Kitchenaid
Hi John, thank you for your question. Unfortunately we do not have a video for your part and appliance specifically. However we do have a video that shows how an installation like this usually goes. Here is the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0jgeiVB_YO4. You should be able to apply it to your own appliance. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

Our dishwasher will wash, however, the plates have streaks, possibly soap streaks, but the water does not drain. The plates do dry also.
For model number KDFE104DWH0
Hello Jeff, thank you for your question. The first think you will want to do is clean out the filter,
(FILTER Part Number: W10872845), as well as the spray arms on the unit. They could be clogged with debris that is being left on the unit during the rinse cycle. You may also want to check/replace the Turbidity Sensor Part Number: WPW10705575, which Measures level of soil in the water. I hope this helps!

What are the difference between the to pumps? You have a motor-pump and pump and motor? How can you tell which one needs to be replaced? Thanks
For model number JDB9000CWP2
Hello Adam, Thank you for the question. The Motor Pump, Part #: PS11773089 is #1 in the diagram and is just the Motor for the Pump. The Dishwasher Pump and Motor, Part #: PS11756692 #10 on the diagram is the Pump, Motor and the Sump, everything within the box of #10. We hope this helps!
Thank you for the explanation between the two pump items. How can I tell which needs to be replaced? A service tech told my wife that its the pump motor and did not give further details. The cost of the part he said was needed matches roughly to the price here for both items. The washer is not spraying but does get water into the washer.
For model number JDB9000CWP2
Hello Adam, Thank you for contacting us. This would indicate the Circulation Pump PartSelect Number PS11773089 would need to be replaced. If there is no damage to the sump then it can be reused with the new Circulation Pump and Motor, however the full assembly with sump PartSelect Number PS11756692 is cheaper. We hope this helps!
Hello, recently our dishes come out not perfectly clean and with residue on glassware. I have cleaned the dishwasher with tub cleaner, have cleaned the filter also checked the drain hose to ensure there is no back-flush. Rinse agent is full too. Recently in addition to not perfectly cleaning, it makes a louder than normal humming sound when it's working (not when it is draining). Is it time to change the circulation pump? What do you recommend?
For model number KUDE20FBSS0
Hello Saeid, thank you for reaching out. According to our research, the problem appears to be with the Pump and Motor Assembly and you may need to replace it, the part number is PS11756692. If you need help placing an order for it, please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!

Dishwasher is leaking out of the motor. Can I buy the motor seal or buy #10 whole unit. Thanks
For model number Kdfe104dss4
Hello Dale, thank you for getting in touch. We would recommend checking the grommet, part number PS11756098, to fix the issue. It creates a watertight seal in the area between the inlet hose and the pump, which prevents the dishwasher from leaking. Glad to be of help!
