Hi Ken,
Thank you for your question. If your dishwasher is not starting, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the circulation pump and motor, the door latch, the sump and motor assembly, the door balance link kit, the capacitor, the chopper assembly and the turbidity sensor. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Would the whole control panel need to be replaced if the dishwasher gets to the drying cycle and will start beeping and the start light is flashing constantly? I have turned the breaker off and "reset" the diswasher for 48 hrs and been able to wash and dry normally with now beeping or flashing then for weeks. However, it is not resetting now and won't stop flashing at the start button.

Hi Amy,
Thank you for your question. If the dishwasher door was opened or if there was a power interruption, this would cause the lights to blink. If the delayed start or delayed hours button was pressed while the door was unlatched, then the lights will continue to flash until the door is closed completely. Check the door latch to see if the door is latching correctly and inspect it for any signs of damage. If the door latch is damaged it will need to be replaced. If you suspect the issue is with either the control panel or the electronic control board, you will need to inspect them. Check the connections between the control panel and the electronic control board to see if they are secure. If the connections are fine, you can test the control panel for continuity with a multimeter to see if it is working correctly. Check the electronic control board for signs of damage, wear, scorching or burn marks. If it shows any of these signs it will have to be replaced. If you have any questions, please let us know.
