Hello Frank, Thank you for your inquiry. First press and hold the control lock button for 3-5 seconds to make sure that dishwasher controls are not locked. To see whether it is an issue with the control panel or the control board, turn off the power to the dishwasher, undo the screws on the door and disconnect the control panel from the control board, then put the door back together. Leaving the dishwasher door open, power up the dishwasher and wait 10 minutes, then shut the door. If the issue is with the panel, then the control board will start up the drain pump with the control panel unplugged. If the drain pump does not start up, then the issue is with the control board.
