Old pump went out
Removed old pump, stripped down wires, added new pump, soldered the wires from washer to replacement pump, and hooked up hoses, tested and finished install. Was actually pretty easy. Just needed to make sure to get all the water was out of the hoses and pump before removing connection points.

I am getting an error message f8/e1. I have cleared and cleaned the filter and the only other thing i can think of is to change the drain pump. Is there anything else i can check or clean? Or do i have to change the drain pump? The machine empties water in the spin/drain setting. Any ideas?
For model number WFW70HEBW0
Hello Hugh,
Thank you for your question. Our sources suggest checking the drain hoses that connect to the water valves and the pump for any leaks or clogging first, if there isn't any issues there, its likely to be the water level switch that needs to be replaced under part PS11754877 for your model. Hope this helps!
I am getting the F09 and E01 error. I have checked the filter and drain traps for clogs and it still will not drain it just sits and makes a humming noise.
For model number WFW88HEAC0
Hello James, thank you for your inquiry. The error code E01 F09 means a long drain time. When your washer goes into drain mode and the drain time is past 8 minutes and not reaching the reset level in the pressure sensor, then the valves in the drain are turned off and the drain pump will cease to pump out the water. After all the checks you have mentioned, the issue is not resolved. Then we recommend replacing the drain pump, part number PS11754106. We hope this solves your problem!

Does the pump have beuilt in water level sensors? My washer is giving a f9e0, timing out on the drain sequence. Its taking too long to drain. Ive cleaned the filter and verified all the hoses are clear. My pump still pumps water. Seems to be a sensor issue.
Hello Michael, thank you for your question. The water level sensor is not a part of the drain pump assembly. It would be a separate part on the unit. I hope this helps!

Hello Linda, thank you for contacting us. For this symptom you will want to replace the Pump Hose part PS11755212 or the Drain Pump part PS11754106. We hope this helps.

My washer is having periodic issues draining water and shows F9 E1 code. Doesn't happen all the time. I have checked the hoses and drain pump filter and they are clear. Should I remove the drain pump and inspect. The problem is periodic in nature
For model number Maytag washer MHW3000BG0
Hi Glen, thank you for reaching out. The error code F9 E1 indicates that drain times are longer than expected, typically over eight minutes. To solve this issue, you may need to make sure that the drain hose is properly placed in the drain pipe. The drain hose should not go any deeper than 4.5 inches into the drain pipe, and it should be securely attached without using tape. There should not be any tape over the opening. Also, the end of the hose should be higher than three feet off the floor. If that does not solve the issue, then you may need to check the drain pump, part number PS11754106, as it is most likely faulty. We hope this helps!
