Freezer is not getting cold. Replaced the starter and capacitor and still nothing. The compressor seems to be running.

Hello Tom, thank you for contacting us. We would recommend cleaning the condenser coils and defrosting the evaporator coils if there is ice build-up. Also, check the condenser fan motor, part number PS12741612, and the evaporator fan motor, part number PS16555213. Please ensure that both fans are working. If not, the faulty motor needs to be replaced. We look forward to hearing from you if you need assistance with placing an order through our 7-days-a-week customer service. We hope this helps!
Freezer not getting colder than 26 degrees, fridge not getting colder than 43 degrees. Condenser fan and evaporator fan running, compressor runs, door gaskets are fine, compressor coils cleaned but could be cleaned better. Help!
For model number JFC2089BEM01
Hello David, thank you for reaching out. We have researched the model and would suggest checking the thermistor, part number PS2580944, for continuity using a multimeter. It monitors the temperature inside the refrigerator and sends information to the control board. A faulty thermistor might not be sending accurate information. We hope this information helps!
