The washing machine will not advance past the wash cycle. Not sure if the timer is bad. What part/parts would be needed to correct the problem? Thank you
For model number WTW4800BQ1
Hi Chris, Thank you for the question. If the appliance is not advancing, I suggest replacing the timer switch. Hope this helps!

I have a unit that doesn't stop the spin cycle. I assume is a timer but i'm told (haven't been to look at the machine yet) there's only buttons on the unit no dial.
For model number WTW4815EW1
Hi Brad,
Thank you for your question. Your washer does not have a timer but an electronic control board. You will need to test the board with a multimeter to see if it is working correctly and you will need to test the switches as well. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Why will the washer only operate in gentle cycle?
For model number 110.20022012
Good Day Roger. Thank you for your question in regards to your unit (Model Number 110.20022012). Based on our research, this may be the result of the Wiring Harness (PartSelect Number PS11752330) being damaged/faulty and needing to be replaced. You can order this part either online at our website www.PartSelect.com or by calling us by phone at 888-260-4310. Best Regards.
The grey button is intact, but the actual starter underneath will not connect at times. What part do I need?
For model number WTW4815EW1
Hi Benita,
Thank you for your question. If you are referring to the large knob that is second from the right on your control panel, than the part that you will need to replace is the electronic control board. The part number listed under your model number for the electronic control board is PS12347391. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

The small grey button that reads start/pause is functioning fine. However, we think the actual starter that runs the machine is starting to fail but we can't figure out which part # it is.

Hello Benita and thanks for writing.
We if your small button (part # PS11746209) is working fine your problem may be with another part. Can you describe the symptoms that makes you believe there is a problem starting your washer? Looking forward to your reply please always include your model number. Hope this helps. Please contact us anytime.
The agitator randomly works on regular, heavy duty, and gentle cycles. No problem with the spin cycle, or the water level. I am wondering if it is the control panel, or the timer? Any ideas??
For model number MVWC200XW2
Hi Frances, thank you for your question! We have researched and found that the issue is with the agitator dogs, part number PS388034. It ratchets across the gear teeth in one direction and digs into the gear teeth in the opposite direction to create the agitation. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!
I am on well water and my washing machine works only on warm and hot water. It seems I can’t get enough cold water to do a load.
For model number WTW4800BQ1
Hello Barb, thank you for getting in touch. According to our research, the issue is most probably with the water inlet valve, part number PS11757114. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this sorts out your problem!
I have a push starter on my Kenmore washer. The gray button is in tact but the actual starter underneath will not connect therefore, the machine will not start. What part do i need? How shall i replace?
For model number 11021102012 type587-08
Hi Nancy, thank you for your question. You would have to replace your electronic control board. Unfortunately we do not have manufacturer instructions on how to replace this part. Generally you would have to open up the back of your control panel. One thing that you can do when replacing a control board is take a picture of your old part wired up so that you have reference to where the wires go. Also once you remove one wire from a spot on your old part, immediately taking it and putting it on your new part in the same place. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.
Machine was working and now has no power to it. I put a load in it started to fill with water, i came back to check on it about 20 mins later and there was some water in the bottom, just a few inches, all the clothes were not wet yet. No power. I checked power fuse in the house and it was not the problem. Any suggestions on how to fix it?? i have it almost 2 years.
For model number WTW4816FW2
Hello Missy, thank you for inquiring. This may be due to a faulty Drive Motor, part number PS11765723 for your model. You may also want to consider the Electronic Control, part number PS12348139 as the cause. I hope this helps and good luck with your repair!
