Is this a shift actuator or switcher? The machine stays on sensing mode...the lid lock works, I changed the capacitor and the electric panel behind the nob on top but an electrician said I needed a shift actuator" thank you...there is no picture on your site...i know what it looks like I've taken it out to check

Hello Judith, Thank you for the question. This is known as a cycle switch. The Shift Actuator is PartSelect Number: PS11747977. Hope this helps!
My washing machine will do the wash cycle and rinse cycle, but does not always move to drain and spin cycles. Some times it will complete the full cycle and other times i will need to manually move the drain and spin cycle. Which part would i need to replace/fix to take care of this issue?Thank you in advance!

Hello Nic, thank you for your question. It sounds like the timer control is not functioning properly. We would recommend checking the clutch and the actuator first, as those parts help change the washer from agitate to spin and drain. If those parts are ok, the control should be replaced which is PartSelect Number: PS12114296. I hope this helps!

Washer will start, acts like it’s sensing. Start to fill the drain. No lights on the front panel and door doesn’t lock. Can use the drain and spin but anything that needs any kind of wash cycle doesn’t continue through. Where do we start?

Hi Jen, thank you for reaching out. Based on the description you have provided, it seems that there is an issue with the electronic control board, part number PS12348139. It manages the washer's functions such as filling, washing, draining and spinning. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this will resolve your problem!
Hello, My mwaterchine was not filling regardless of it being set on Deep water wash or Auto select. I purchased the water inlet valve and installed it today. I am still having the same issue. Any suggestions, if not, I'll purchase a new washing machine.
Thanks!

Hello Glenn, thank you for your question. We would recommend testing the temperature switch first, which is part number WPW10202616. If that tests ok, the issue would be with the water valve part number WPW10144820. There may be some installation videos on YouTube if you search the part numbers. I hope this helps.
