The door on my side by side won't stay closed. So we took a rag and put it between both doors to keep it shut. It is not the freezer door but the other door is their something wrong with the seal

Hi Karen,
Thank you for your question. If that is the only issue on your appliance, I would suggest checking to see if there is any damage to the bushings at the bottom hinge first. If those are fine, you may need to replace your gasket. Good luck with your repair.

My mother bought this model new side by side refrigerator several years ago from Menards. She told me the delivery drivers said the door shuts as good as it can. So it hasn't shut right since. The warranty is expired now. Could it still be the cam at the bottom of the door, or would it be something else? Remember it never worked right, could the cam have been defective? Or the gasket?

Hello Larry, Thank you for the question. We suggest checking to see if the Door is level. We suggest checking the Door Cam, Bracket and Stop to see if they are damaged or defective. You can also check the Doro Gaskets to see if they have a tight seal and a good magnetic pull. If everything checks out, you can check the Bottom Door Hinge & Cam. We hope this helps!
