I ran a self diagnostic and found that the circulation pump just makes a buzzing noise when it’s supposed to be energized and no water flows. Is there a chance of a clog causing the failure or is the pump dead and is it difficult to replace?
For model number WTW6800WW1
Hi Phil, Thank you for the question. If there was a clog the pump would make a lot of unusually noise when trying to run. I suggest replacing the pump. Previous customers have said this repair was pretty easy to do. Hope this helps!

Washer problem, a few days ago my washer some how swallowed some change and the change ended up in the drain pump and busted all the leafs but one on the fan inside i took it apart obviously to get the change out i put it back together and started it back up and washes ok but when the spin and drain cycle comes on it like hesitates to spin starts to spin extremely slow and then stop and starts again it will drain and wash but it takes close to an hr if not more so my question is what would be causing this to happen is it due to the leafs being broken off on the drain pump or is it the drum motor any help is appreciated thank you in advance.
For model number WTW6400SW3
Hello Raul, thank you for contacting us. Since the drain pump was damaged it would need to be replaced. It will not work properly and cause issues similar to what you are experiencing. Good luck with the repair!
