My compressor was checked and functions correctly. Both evaporators are clean and both fans run. Regardless, neither compartment cools. Could you suggest where i could look next. I am thinking either the control or defrost control board. Im not having any luck with repairman. First repairman said bad compressor on the system and suspected a freon leak due to service ports being previously installed (repair estimate $800 to $1000.00).. 2nd opinion repairman put gauges on compressor and compressor freon is fine, but no idea which electronic part may be the problem. any help would be appreciated. i fear getting screwed and this became a dyi.

Hi Kenn,
Thank you for your question. If both the refrigerator and freezer sections are too warm, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which ones are causing the issue. You will need to check the capacitor, the start device and the bi-metal defrost thermostat. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!
