My tenant ruined the silver frame that surrounds the controls on the back of the stove where the control buttons are. Would I need to order the control panel-universal silver? Is that just the "frame" that goes around the controls? How does that fasten, would I be able to replace it or would I need a technician? Thank you
For model number WFG361LVD1
Hi Nancy, Thank you for the question, The frame is the Control Panel - Universal Silver,PartSelect Number PS11749776. You should be able to do the repair on your own without a repair man. First you will need to unplug or disconnect the power to the appliance. Next pull the appliance out from the wall and you will see the screws holding the frame to the back panel. Next you will need to remove the screws from the end caps holding the frame at each end. The reverse the steps to reinstall. Hope this helps!
