I can't find instructions on how to remove the plastic inside of the door.
I removed all of the screws to take the plastic inside of the door off (except possibly 1 screw at top near the hinge). It seems the inside of the door should be loose, even IF there is another screw, but I can't get it to wiggle and I'm afraid I will break it.

I'm replacing the main circuit board located in the door, but i'm having a hard time getting the back panel off. I've taken all the screws off and it appears to wan to un-snap off, but i don't want to force it, since everything is thin plastic. Is there a method?
For model number KHHC2090SSS-2
Hi Craig, Thank you for the question. The inner door will need to be pried loose by using a flat blade screw driver or putty knife between the inner and outer door. Hope this helps!

Display changes erratically and buttons sometimes don’t function. I am thinking electronic control board. So to get at it I removed the 3 screws on side and 2 at bottom. Next i see it says to pry? Am i actually prying the front metal skin off? Or do I remove from the back inside plastic?

Hi Neil,
Thank you for your question. Yes, you will need to pry the metal housing open to release the tabs securing it to the microwave. If you have any questions, please let us know. We look forward to hearing from you!

My display on my microwave is not displaying any thing. I can still use the microwave using the number pad and it responds fine but the screen display shows nothing. Should i replace the electronic control panel or the display or both?
For model number KHHC2099SSS0
Hello Michelle, Thank you for your inquiry. If the display goes out partially, the display board is more commonly at fault. If the display isn’t working at all, either the main control board or the display board could be at fault. From your description, we would recommend changing the display control board-part# WPW10143962. Hope this helps!

The touch screen is randomly changing to different pages on its own. It beeps every time it does, even middle of the night. I am guessing the fix is to replace the electronic control board, part # ps11748457. Please let me know if this is the right fix and if this is the only part i need to order. Thank you.

Hello Kevin, thank you for your question. The issue could be the electronic board or the touch pad board. It could be a stuck or sticking button or even a loose connection between the touch panel and the board. We would recommend checking the connections and parts to see if you can see any issues with these. The most likely issue is the Part Number: Electronic Control Board - Black WPW10116267, which is the touch pad itself. I hope this helps!

Can't get the inner screws off to get to the control panel. The problem i'm having is the screw in the top hinge won't come out
For model number KHHC2090SSS1
Hello Kevin, Thank you for the question. To remove a stripped screw, start by putting a piece of duct tape, steel wool, or rubber band over it so the screwdriver has something to grip onto. Then, gently tap the screwdriver into the screw with a hammer. Once the screwdriver is in place, try to unscrew the stripped screw while pressing hard on the screwdriver. Hope this helps!
