Wash cycle would stop and hum like it tried to start.
Repair was simple. Diagnosis was wrong. Switch did not fix problem. Most likely a control electronic assembly.

Door will not latch shut. Dishwasher has been working fine for 15 years. No lights when dial is rotated. will new door latch assembly fix problem?
For model number JDB6510AWP
Hello Wayne, thank you for your question. This Door Latch with Switches is the correct replacement for your model and may fix the issue. You may also want to consider the Door Spring Linkage part PS11746857 and the Door Spring part PS11746856. We hope this helps.
