Removed Lower Spray Arm Seal(#3), Pump House Filter (#6)(which I cleaned), Assembly, Rinse Arm (#7) Jump Up Nozzle (#1). Unscrewed Discharge Housing Nut(#8) by hand. Removed Support, Wash Arm (#9). After replacing it, I reversed the procedure, again refering to the diagram frequently.
In the process, I discovered that one part, the pump housing filter, had shrunk ... Read more over the years, preventing the pump cover to seat properly. Although I had a few service calls in the past (we had a service contract until a month ago), no one could find the reason why the cover did not tighten down. I was told the screw holes were stripped, and it would not be worth replacing the whole base.
Anyway, I used a Dremel grinder on the filter latches to increase the diameter of the filter, and it fits now.
The nine-year old dishwasher runs like a charm again.
Incidentally, the ordered parts arrived within 24 hours! How do they accomplish such fast delivery?
