The planatary gear system is dropping down. I understand there is a sheer pin which needs replacing. What is the part number please and are there instructions to replace it? Thank you for helping with this problem.

Thank you for the prompt response, i've ordered the shear-pin. What type grease - and how much - should i use when reinstalling the planetary gear system? Thanks for your help in getting the mixer back in service.

I need a replacement planetary for this mixer. The part number on the original planetary is 90708036. Is manufaturer part number 9708172, your part number PS117446988 compatible with this mixer?

The planetary unit keeps falling off into my bowl. Is a new one going to fix this problem or is there something more simple to fix it?

Thanks for your question. There is a pin that holds the planetary in place on most models - it may have sheared off. This pin has its own part number specific to your appliance's model number.
