My oven come on when the oven knob is in the off position. Will this part fix the problem

Hi Leo,
Thank you for your question. It could be this part. Although I think you may have to have a repair technician come to service your appliance. I am not sure why your gas regulator will allow gas to go into your oven and then activate your igniter to turn on your oven. Especially if your switch is in the off position. You can test this part with a multi meter to see if it does not close when you switch it to your off position. I hope this helps. Good luck with your repair.
