For the dual burner the center element does not work. It seems as though the most common issue with an element not working is the relay switch. Is this the relay switch for the dual burner (right rear center eye))?
For model number KECD806RBL02
Hi David,
Thank you for the question. The Dual Burner Control Switch part number is PartSelect Number PS11742653. I will also recommend testing the element its self to see if the middle part may have become defective.
Hope this helps!

The left front, largest diameter dual burner will not turn off the outer ring when the knob is turned to low. The entire burner stays hot.

Hi Philip,
Thank you for your question. I would suggest checking your switch and your burner. It could be either of those parts that are causing your issue. Good luck with your repair.

I recently bought a used KitchenAid stove and the front left burner is a dual burner and only the outside ring works. I took the oven apart and switched the wires on the burner and the inside burner would work. My question is should the switch only have one wire on the p1 slot or is this switch wired wrong? Or is it the switch itself bad? Thanks

Hi Tom, Thank you for the question. Each terminal should only have one wire each. I recommend replacing the switch its self. Hope this helps!

One of the element switch ( knobs) does not turn on the element - it feels like it doesn't want to turn freely - like a default safety has been activated ? Any ideas of repair and which part? Thanks very much michael
Hi Mike, thank you for your question. Be sure to cut power to your appliance and remove any parts before doing tests. There are a couple of parts that could cause this issue specifically. You will need a multi meter to be able to test the parts. The first part you will want to check is your element. It should be reading between 0 - 50 ohms to be working correctly. The other part to check would be your infinite (or surface burner) switch. When you remove that part from the appliance, connect each probe from your multi meter to the prongs and then turn the switch to an on position. If you get no continuity then the switch is the issue. It could also be your wiring that is the issue but you should see visual damage on that part in most cases. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

Right front dual burner does not stay on. It will stay on for 5 seconds and turn off by itself and so on.
For model number WCE55US0HB
Hello Jeff, Thank you for the question. This could be a defective Burner Element, Bad connection tot he Control Switch or defective Switch. We suggest unplugging the appliance and checking the wiring from the switch to the Burner Element. You can also test the element with a Multi Meter and if good, replace the Switch. We hope this helps!
