Bought used washer dryer combo recently. Dryer runs forever and never stops so i'm assuming something is wrong with the timer. Would this be your guess as well?
For model number 11098573110
Hello Cindy, Thank you for your inquiry. I would check the thermal fuse, the temperature thermostat and cycling thermostat first as these can cause the timer not to advance. You can test the parts with a multimeter. If you are unfamiliar with how a multimeter functions, there are YouTube videos available to assist you. If there are no issues with these parts, check the door switch and your timer switch as well. Good Luck with your repair.

How do I remove the washer knob and dial to be able to remove and replace the timer?
For model number LT5100XVW0
Hi Peter,
Thank you for your question. You should be able to pull the knobs and the dial off the timer shaft. Here is a link to one of our YouTube videos that you may reference for information on how to remove and install the timer. The washer in the video may not be the same as yours, but it will give you a general idea on how to remove and install the part. We hope this helps!
