Washer Overfilled - Timer Not Running
When the washer overfilled I thought I had a level switch issue, and I replaced it and the tube. Was still having problems with it advancing, and replaced the timer. I may have caused the problem myself as I crossed 2 wires on the level switch and it took awhile to figure out my error and why it still didn't work. Next time I take a pictu
... Read morere. Was the washer worth sinking $225.00 into it? It's over 25 years old and the only other repair was the motor coupling and clutch a couple years ago. This is probably the last time but the wife really likes the machine and was unhappy when I suggested replacing it. From what I read about the new ones with electronic control I may be better off keeping this one going as long as I can get parts.

Is it possible a bad water level pressure sensor could prevent the washer from draining?
For model number 100.92573100
Hello Kenny, Thank you for writing. The Water Level switch only controls the filling of the tub, not draining. We hope this helps!

The water on the washing machine will not shut off it keeps running til it overflows I don’t know if this is the part I need the overflow switch
For model number LSR7233DQ0
Hi Charles, thank you for the great question. The water level pressure switch identifies how much water is in the machine and the water inlet valve on your washer is the part that connects the two water hoses to the machine, and it controls the flow of both hot and cold water. You may need to check the following parts: the water inlet valve, part number PS334646, and the water level pressure switch, part number PS11741206. We hope this sorts out your problem!
You no longer carry the water level pressure switch for the Whirlpool model listed above and it is not available anywhere. However, looking at the Kenmore model above (made by Whirlpool)...the water level pressure switch looks to be exactly the same. this you have in stock. according to the Kenmore switch on your website... it says it fits Whirlpool.
so is it possible that i can replace the switch on my Whirlpool with the Kenmore switch you do carry in stock?
thanks for emailing me with the correct answer.
For model number Whirlpool LA5300XTWO and KENMORE 11092273600
Hello Bruce, thank you for your question. Per your model, the pressure switch is discontinued and there is no replacement. We cannot confirm that this part will work in its place, as its not an authorized replacement. You are more than welcome to order the switch and see if it will work, but if the part doesn't function correctly we are unable to accept it back for a refund. I hope this helps.
