Refrigerator door handle kept falling when opening door
Removed the handle and removed old part . It took hours to remove the old clips that were on the handle fastened with Allen screws. It took hours to remove the Allen screws without stripping the screws. Need to use an Allen wrench with a handle so you could apply pressure. That finally worked.
Bottom line the fridge handle stil
... Read morel comes off with the new parts. It was an expensive couple of parts that are not doing the job.My wife now opens the fridge by putting her hand on the top of the door.Suggest you don’t buy the parts, they don’t work.

The handle on this Whirlpool frig is loose and I would like to tighten it.How do I get to the mounting screws to do so?

Hi Carl, Thank you for the question. You will need to pull up to release the handle from the unit. Then tighten the screw down and install the handle back onto the door. Hope this helps!
