Drain pan failed and had many leaks
Took two times getting the correct part, however after getting the correct part it took about 10-minutes to replace. Had to take the fan out. When you put the new drip pan in make sure it is positioned so that the guides on the pan aligns with slots in the bottom refrig brace, otherwise back pannel will not align correctly. The fan is ve

I keep finding puddles of water under fridge. I checked the water line and no leaks. Could the drip pan be leaking? How do I confirm this is the problem? Thanks, Paul
For model number KFCS22EVMS00
Hi Paul,
Thank you for your question. If you are finding puddles of water accumulating under the refrigerator, you may have a clogged drain. Over time, the drain tube may become clogged with food debris. During the defrost cycle, the water would pool on the floor and freeze when the refrigerator starts to get cold again. During this cycle the water would eventually leak out. Another reason why you may be finding water under the refrigerator, could be the water inlet valve. If a component inside the valve has failed, this can cause it to malfunction. If it is cracked or it is not connected correctly, this may cause leaking as well. You will need to inspect these parts as well as the water lines to see what is causing the issue. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!
