Need to replace the bottom bake element in the oven with part number w108602, is this an easy replacement part?
For model number kdrs467vss04
Hello Tom, thank you for your question. Replacing a bake element is usually quite easy. Unplug the appliance or remove power at the breaker panel. You would remove the two screws that hold the element to the back wall of the unit and gently pull the element towards you. Remove the wires that are connected to each terminal and be careful they don't pull back into the insulation of the oven. You can use clothes pins on the end of each terminal to keep them from being pulled back into the unit. Reattach the connectors to the new bake element and mount the element to the back wall of the oven. Good luck with your repair!
