The ice maker in the freezer is making really small ice cubes. The water filter has been changed and new, this made no difference. I am thinking it is a faulty water valve because this problem is intermittent one time the ice cubes are normal size and then it will make small cubes. My main question is there are 2 water valves, which valve feeds water to the ice maker?

My ice tray gets a 1/2” layer of ice on the bottom and I’ve been that this is what I need to fix it and wanted to double check before ordering it.
