The place where you place your hand to pull open the door, cracked. When I look at your parts list it does not show a replacement or how to fix/replace. I wonder if it can be fixed, what part, how much and if there is an instruction sheet
For model number SHS5AVF5UC-01
Hello Kenneth, thank you for your query. The door handle for your model is not sold separately. You may have to replace the complete control panel, part number PS11724807, to fix the issue. We have found some relevant instructions for you to replace the control panel. They may not be of the exact same model, but they will help you with the process. You may follow the following steps: open the dishwasher door and remove the screws securing the outer door panel. Close the door securely and pull the outer door panel down to remove it. Next, remove the screws on the inner door panel securing the control panel and pull the control panel off. Note the orientation of the wires connected to the control board and disconnect them. Now, use a flathead screwdriver to depress one of the mounting tabs to release the old control board from its support. Follow the steps backwards to install the new control panel. Good luck with your repair!
