What is the required procedure to replace the wb27x10860 board on this oven?
For model number PSB1001NSS01
Hello JIm and thanks for writing.
If the control is defective it may not shut off a relay when the function is complete, and then opening the door to interrupt the power to the control would be the only way to terminate the cycle. If you have this symptom, the control board may be at fault. Unplug the unit and remove the cabinet. If the relays are not part of the control board, you should check the output terminals on them for continuity first. There shouldn’t be continuity when the relay is not powered. If the relays check okay, then the control board is likely defective.

Still looking for required procedure for replacing wb27x10860 in this oven. The last answer was for a different model. As this oven has no grill. The reason i suspect the selector board is that the dial does not make contact when pushed in to select the current choice. Do i need to remove the door to access the selector board? Thanks,

Hi Jim, thank you for contacting us. Unfortunately we do not have installation information specific for your model. The installation though is very much the same as what we listed in the previous answer. Instead of a grille, you would just have to remove your control panel instead of a grille. To remove the control panel, all you would have to do is open up your door. Across the bottom of the panel there should be screws that you need to remove. Then close your door. Lift the control panel up and that is how you remove it. Be careful not to pull away before you unplug the electrical parts. Good luck with your repair.
