When baking, once the temps reach 450..the control panel gets foggy.. like stream in system.. is it the cooling fan wb26x10264 or the motor wb27t10662 ? or perhaps none of those and something else?
For model number PT916SRR2SS
Hello Kevin and thanks for writing.
It might be a damaged gasket somewhere in the panel itself. This is not a common symptom and we would highly recommend contacting the manufacturer directly regarding this issue as it might damage the controls. GE US 800-626-2005

I am getting a f9 code on my oven double in cabinet unit. Cooling fan? Door lock? Capacitor for fan? Any direction would be helpful.. oven is currently sitting on counter awaiting repair for thanksgiving dinner..
For model number PT925SN3SS
Hi Bob, Thank you for the question. An F9 error code on a General Electric (GE) oven indicates that the oven's electronic control system has detected a problem with the automatic door lock. I suggest checking the wire harness on the lock to make sure it is not damaged or came lose. If the lock and harness look good it may need to be replaced, PartSelect Number PS2355823. Hope this helps!
