How do you replace the smart board
For model number pvm2070sm1ss
Hello Cheryl, thank you for your question. To replace this board you will have to access behind the control panel. To do this you will have to remove the top vent that goes along the top of the unit. There should be 2 screws that hold it into place, and you may have to slide the vent to the left to remove it after the screws are out. Once that piece is removed you should be able to look down at the top of the control panel section to see a screw that is holding that panel into place. Once that screw is removed you should be able to pull the control panel up and out of the unit. There are wires connected there so be careful you don't pull too hard. Once the back side of the control panel is accessible you should be able to unplug the old board, plug the new one in and remount it, then reverse the above steps to put the unit back together. I hope this helps!
