Front burner gets to hot not able control it with control knob

Hello Dean, thank you for writing. This is likely due to a faulty Infinite Switch. For the 6" Surface Burner, the replacement is Infinite Switch part number PS11740774, and for the 8" Surface Burner, the replacement is Switch part number PS11740783. Good luck with your repair!

The panel is showing " f9eo " on control panel and nothing works.

Hi Mark,
Thank you for your question. According to the Whirlpool website, the F9-E0 error code is letting you know that the range is not wired correctly at the home electrical supply, or at the hard wired connection. If the range was just installed in the last few months, you may need to have an electrician check the electrical supply to it. If there was a recent outage, this error code will display. You can try to remove the code by turning the circuit breaker off for one minute and turning it back on. Wait 1 minute and if the error code reappears you may need to have a technician check the range out. We hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day.
