... Read moreemaining screws becomes easy. Do not tighten completely until all screws are in place; then align gasket and alternate tightening. Check for snug fit against fridge and adjust if necessary.
The repair was straight forward and was not hard. You do almost need 3 hands as the reinstallation of the inner door panel can be awkward. The only issue that I have is that the new seal has a poor fit. While it was received folded over on itself, this was not the problem. ... Read more. It also has a very weak magnet. If the magnet was stronger, then maybe it would seal better. It does still leak to some extent. The seal that was removed had a stronger magnet that the new one does. I would include a photo, but this system does not allow me to add attachments. Overall, I'm pleased with the time that it took to get the gasket, and the ease of replacement, but am not satisfied with the quality of the sealing or the strength of the magnet that holds the door closed. I would rate replace as 8 out of 10, and part quality and how it works as a 2 on a scale of 10.
