stove top element failed
removed screws holding element and detached wires and simply removed it; no problem. Reversed the process to install the new one. The great thing is that I ordered this element one morning and received it the very next day! I have saved this website for future problem solutions because I know they are well organized and dependable. Thanks for saving our week!!

Burner was "shot"
After removing the 2 screws, pulling the element out, & disconnecting the 2 wires, I started installing the new element. 20 years ago, this may have been easy, but...after so many years of use, and grease fumes and who knows what, the new connections were difficult to connect. However , after a few choice words and a few alcoholic beverages, the new burner was installed and it works great! Thank you & keep stocking those "old" parts. I have 3 more burners & an oven fixture left ta go!

bake element burned out and had to be replaced
I chickened out and called a repair service. I don't have the guts for working with 220. But it was still a great deal. An appliance store in Brunswick, Ohio said part was no longer available but you found it for me. Thank you ever so much. The cost for part and repairman was less than $150, which is a whole lot less than a new range.
