Hello William, Thank you for reaching out. You will need to remove the screw used to mount the valve tot he appliance. Slide the valve out of place and transfer the wire connections one by one tot he new valve so you know they are connected properly. Slide the black C-washer out on the waterline connection, pressed the flange "inwards" to release the white plastic water tubing while gently pulling out to disconnect and then push into the new valve. Reinstall by remounting to the appliance. We hope this helps!

Unit will not make any cooling.

Hi William, thank you for your inquiry. We have concluded that the issue is with the compressor start relay, part number PS9865140. We would recommend replacing the relay to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!
Remove water filter and water filter holder. Removed cover on back of frig. Removed clip where water line connects to back of water filter. Took half inch wrench pushed in on water line lock to release line. Repeat at other end. Reverse steps to put on new line. Easy repair.
Video makes it look easy. Kenmore refrigerator does not have "groove" along the right hand side of switch that allows for pushing down on release. Used a thin screwdriver to get under to push while holding switch edge with pliers. Kept slipping. Tape sides to avoid scratching inside of refrigerator.
