Hello Chaundrea, thank you for contacting us. Given that the evaporator fan motor, part number PS12741350, is good, we would suggest inspecting the evaporator coils and ensuring that they have no built-up ice. If you notice ice build-up, the defrost timer, part number PS310869, is most likely defective. We would also recommend testing the capacitor, part number PS11764031, and temperature control, part number PS9493106. Please reach out to customer service if you need help placing an order. Glad to be of help!
Hi
I'm needing a new kick plate for the fridge.
Can you please help me out with getting one ?
I've been unable to find one.
The dogs long hair gets under the fridge and it stops cooling,
said the repair man.
We just lost a bunch of my wife's insulin due to not being correctly refrigerated.
Thanks

Hello Byron, thank you for your inquiry. Your model does not have a kick plate. The problem occurs if the pet hair becomes so dense that it clogs up the refrigerator's condenser coils. When this happens, the fridge stops cooling the way it was designed to. Fortunately, you can use a vacuum cleaner with a thin attachment to get into most hard-to-reach places, including around the fridge. The condenser assembly for your model is part number PS309555. We hope that helps!
I removed two srews from the back panel inside fthe reezer compartment and the two that hold the air manifold/baffle? and pulled the baffle out. Then, I removed the two srews that hold the front part of the fan bracket behind the baffle and the back panel came out easily. Two more screws and one quick connect plug attached to the fan and

the repair was really easy!!! took longer to put the little clip on the fan part than it was to install the whole moter and put everthing back together
I applied some tips learned by reading other reviews. So before I started I grabbed my trusty vise grip pliers and a small screw driver. I locked onto the switch actuator, the part that the refrigerator door pushes in, with the vise grips and pulled on it just hard enough to get the screw driver inserted in the right side to push in the c

Then I used the screw driver on the left site to encourage the switch past the detents on the left and very quickly the switch was out of the mount. The wires from the refrigerator pulled out with the old switch. I unplugged the old switch from the wires and plugged in the new switch and shoved the new switch back into the mount, wiggled it a couple of times to make sure it was secure and the job was done. Once I applied the vise gripes at first, the whole job took less than a minute.
