Why does it leak water on the floor..
For model number FFHS2311LB2
Hi Beverly,
Thank you for your question. Depending on where the water is leaking from, there are a few parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. If the leak is coming from the bottom of the door, there is a clog in the drain tube causing the water to pool on the floor of the refrigerator and then leak out. You will need to clean the drain to resolve this issue. If the leak is coming from the back of the refrigerator, it may becoming from the water inlet valve. Check the lines connected to it to see if they are fitted correctly. Also, check the valve to see if there are any cracks in it. If a component inside the valve has failed, then it will need to be replaced. You should also check the water filter, the water tube and the water filter base. We hope this helps! Good luck with the repair!
So how do you clean the drain tube? I'm pretty sure that the problem.

Hello Beverly, Thank you for the question. We suggest using one end of the plumbing snake and insert it into the drain hole as far as it will go. Gently push the snake up and down to loosen the clog and debris. Remove the snake. Put 1 teaspoon of baking soda down the drain. Pour 2 cups of hot water down the drain slowly. You can use a turkey baster to direct the water's flow. This should clear the drain. We hope this helps!

I then proceeded to disconnect the 1/4" copper tubing which is the water feed coming out of the wall. Then I removed the screws that hold the

Used pliers to remove the residual broken stud that was still attached to the wall of the refrigerator, and then just pushed the new part in place. The longest time was spent in removing the food and crisper drawers.
Even though my wife said that our icemaker broke, there was actually nothing wrong with it. It was the valve that let water flow in during the 'harvest' cycle. A real easy way to test the icemaker without voltage and current measurements, is to fill the tray by hand with a little cup of water; wait till the water freezes and see if t
