Had a power surge and nothing is working on the frigidaire unit. Do i need a new control board? Or is the circuit protected somehow?

Hi Denis, thank you for the great question. First, turn the breaker at the fuse box off. Then check the outlet of the refrigerator. If ok, then test the power through the power cord with a meter. If ok, then you will need to replace the main control board, part number PS12364665. We hope this solves your problem!

pulled fridge from wall, removed card board cover, unplug the fridge. turn the water off to the fridge. remove the water source from fridge first then remove 2 screws that hold the valve. then the wire plugs. hoses.. they were color coded.
